Built gives you both: detailed gym tracking AND the ability to see how real people (friends, influencers, people with your goals) actually train and recover over time.

Built offers both free and premium tiers. The free version includes workout tracking, social features (following friends and viewing their workouts), and basic recovery visualization. Premium unlocks real-time live recovery tracking with detailed muscle heatmaps, full AI coaching features, and advanced analytics. Premium features require a subscription, which helps us continue developing and improving the app.

How does recovery tracking work?

Built tracks every exercise you perform and maps it to specific muscle groups. Based on the volume (sets × reps × weight), intensity, and time since your last session, the app calculates recovery levels for each muscle group individually. This data is visualized through color-coded heatmaps on an anatomical body view: red/orange indicates muscles still recovering (fatigued), while gray indicates fully recovered muscles ready to train. The AI coach uses this recovery data to suggest appropriate training volumes and rest periods.

Can I use Built without sharing my workouts?

Yes. When you complete a workout, you can choose whether to share it to your feed or keep it private. Your workout history and recovery data are always private unless you explicitly choose to share individual sessions. You control what's public and what stays personal.
